Who We Are:
The Original Yinzer Dogs is Pittsburgh's hottest dog concept — and we're taking it to the streets. Our food truck brings the same bold flavors and high energy you'd find at our Cranberry location, backed by an ownership group that includes Pro Football Hall of Famer Dan Marino and Pittsburgh radio legends Larry Richert and Jimmy Krenn.
We're looking for a Road Dog — a mobile line cook who thrives in tight quarters, loves the pace of the truck, and can crank out quality product wherever the road takes us.
What You'll Do:
- Execute the full Yinzer Dogs menu — fryer and grill work — in a food truck environment.
- Assist with truck setup, breakdown, loading, and cleaning before and after each event.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in a compact, fast-moving workspace.
- Coordinate with your Road Tender to keep the window moving efficiently.
- Adapt to varying event locations, crowd sizes, and conditions — no two days are the same on the road.
- Match the energy of the brand at every stop.
Hours:
Truck schedule is TBA — events and bookings are actively being developed. Inquire within for current availability and scheduling details. Both full-time and part-time arrangements are on the table depending on your schedule.
Your availability helps us get booked. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape the truck's calendar alongside us.
What We're Looking For:
- Food truck experience is a major plus — if you've worked a truck before, move to the front of the line.
- Strong short order cook background — volume, speed, and consistency are everything.
- Physically capable of loading, unloading, and working efficiently in a compact kitchen environment.
- Flexible availability including weekends, festivals, and community events.
- Team player who can run a tight two-person operation without missing a beat.
- We will train the right person — food truck experience preferred, great attitude required.
What You Get:
- $18–$25/hr based on experience.
- Free meals on every shift.
- Yinzer Dogs merch — you'll look good doing it.
- Celebrity access — Dan Marino, Larry Richert, and Jimmy Krenn are ownership. Truck events tend to bring the crew out.
- The chance to be part of building something from the ground up.
How to Apply:
Send your resume and a quick note about your experience — especially if you've worked a food truck before. Tell us about your availability and we'll take it from there.
The Original Yinzer Dogs is an equal opportunity employer. Our mobile operation is run in full compliance with Pennsylvania food safety law, including the PA Food Employee Certification Act.
